School Holidays in Snowdonia
July 18th, 2014
School’s out for summer!
Well, how on earth did that happen? Here at the Oakeley Arms we think the months of 2014 are flying by but we cans till barely believe that it’s time for the school holidays already! Kids all over the country will be joyous that the last school term has come to an end and they can sit back and relax for the next six weeks. Oh to be young and carefree again, we say! A six week holiday sounds pretty good to us.
So, how are you planning to tackle the holidays? Do you take each day as it comes, or has each minute of the holiday been accounted for and planned, with different activities for your little ones to enjoy? Do they get packed up and sent to grandparents or do you use the holidays as an opportunity to have some precious family time? And what about those infernal rainy days when you’re all cooped up inside? Although judging by the glorious sunshine here today in Snowdonia, there hopefully won’t be too many days when rain stops play.

And if you haven’t already thought about a summer break with the family, then now’s an ideal time book! Snowdonia is a fantastic location to bring the kids – there’s so much to do and they’ll love all the wide open spaces and room to run around in. It doesn’t have to cost the earth either, with loads of free days out like exploring the beautiful beaches or heading out to conquer a mountain. Your school holidays in Snowdonia are practically sorted.
We’d love to see you here at the Oakeley Arms too! We’ve got stunning self-catering cottages available, in a range of sizes to suit every family. Contact us for last minute booking and prices.

So come and join us at the Oakeley Arms and all the family will enjoy a fantastic school holiday in Snowdonia.
