Here at the Oakeley Arms Hotel in Blaenau Ffestiniog we think there’s loads of fabulous things to celebrate about beautiful Snowdonia, but one thing that many people flock to the area for is the fabulous choice of north Wales golf courses that are on our doorstep.

• Royal St Davids Golf Club, Harlech – one of the most well-known golf courses in the area, Royal St David’s really is one of the best courses in North Wales. Its lush links and stunning views attract golfers from across the world. To find out more, click here

• Porthmadog Golf Club – situated on the coast and dunes at Morfa Bychan just outside Porthmadog, this club is popular with both members and visitors alike. Just don’t get too distracted by the beautiful beach views! For more information click here

• Criccieth Golf Club – opened in 1905 by the local politician, and later Prime Minister, David Lloyd George, the popular course is still going strong. Dominated by stunning views of the brooding castle, and with the Snowdonia mountains as the beautiful backdrop. For more details click here
• Bala Golf Club – at almost 1,000m above sea level, this is a golf course with a view! The picturesque scenery made up of the Berwyn and Arenig mountain ranges, not to mention the pretty Llyn Tegid all provide the stunning vistas from this 10-hole course. For more information click here
