Hands up who caught the match last Saturday? It was a pretty good result for the boys in red. Well done to the Wales team, they brought home a stonking win against the flying Fijians, winning 17 points to 13.

This weekend it’s the turn of the legendary All Blacks to face the mighty dragons. And it looks as though the Welsh team have their work cut out to defeat the team from New Zealand on Saturday.

It’s not a great track record for Wales against New Zealand…… They’ve met 29 times previously but Wales have only won 3 times. The Reds have scored 25 tries but the All Blacks have managed a whopping 111 tries!

We wonder if the success of the All Blacks is down to the Haka that hey perform at the beginning of each game? The Haka is a ceremonial war dance dating back to traditional Maori customs. Although the Haka is performed at a rugby match these days for the ceremony, it can look mighty fierce, and the original aim of the dance was to scare the war opponents into submission – it seems to be working for the mighty All Blacks so far!

Hopefully the Welsh boys can do it this Saturday, but one things for sure, it’s going to be a great match. And another things for sure is that we’ll be cheering on the boys, very loudly too. Come on Cymru!!
