So, the weekend we’ve all been waiting for is almost here…..It’s time for the brilliant Festival Number 6 2014 to kick off on the 5th of September – just one more sleep!

The small festival is now in it’s third year, and it’s been a big hit both with festival goers and with the professional industry, picking up numerous awards in its short history. It has become known as one of the best and most quirky festivals in Britain, all in one of the most stunning and unusual settings in the country – the idyllic village of Portmeirion.

And Festival Number 6 2014 promises to be one of the best yet. The musical line up includes huge acts like the Pet Shop Boys and Beck, along with London Grammar, Neneh Cherry, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Patrick Wolf and The Undertones.

But it’s not just pop music, there are also DJs, comedians (including Charlie Higson and Josh Widdecombe), poets, films, drama, workshops, debates, male voice choirs, folk musicians and loads more. Truly something for everyone, including kids – there’s some great activities for all the family, including a kids cinema, Robin Hood Games, storytelling, camp craft, pirate training and even a kids’ rave!
