Zip World Titan and Zip World Caverns, Blaenau Ffestiniog, LL41 3NB
Get your goggles and flying suits on; it’s time to take on Titan! Here in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Zip World has created the largest zip zone, as well as being the only four person zip line, to exist in Europe. Titan consists of three lines; Alpha, Bravo and Charlie, each line giving you a breathtaking view of the surrounding area as you sour through. Not for you? No worries – Zip World facilities include a café with outdoor benches and gift shop.
Worried about the weather? No problem! Take the ultimate adventure journey into Blaenau Ffestiniog’s caverns – which have been inaccessible for nearly 200 years, where Zip World also has an indoor pursuit consisting of zip lines, rope courses and tunnels.
Zip World Bounce Below, Blaenau Ffestiniog, LL41 3NB
Zip lines not your thing? Try Bounce Below, a series of indoor trampoline-like nets and slides set within the Ffestiniog caverns. Although currently closed, check in with Bounce Below on the 18th June 2016 for its grand re opening, and see for yourself that this course is bigger, bouncier and better than ever before! A viewing platform within the caverns is also available.
Zip World Velocity, Bethesda, Ll57 4YG
Looking for a more extreme adventure? Experience the fastest zip line in the world, and the longest in Europe, in Zip World Velocity! Warm up first on the Little Zipper before travelling to the top of Penrhyn Quarry to take the exciting plunge. Not for you? No problem! Zip World also offers a quarry tour and facilities include a viewing platform with picnic benches and an outdoor food kiosk.
Zip World Fforest, Betws-y-Coed, LL24 0HA
In an idyllic forestry setting lays Zip World Fforest, a series of exciting courses within a canopy of trees, with panoramic views overlooking Betws-y-Coed and the valley. Try either the Zip Safari; an exhilarating ropes course experience, Plummet; the world’s highest powerfan tree parachute simulator or the Skyride; Europe’s first and highest 5-seater rope swing which will leave you breathless! Surf Snowdonia, Dolgarrog, LL32 8QE
On the other side of the valley is Dolgarrog – home to Surf Snowdonia. This is the World’s first inland surf lagoon with built-in waves reaching head height. This huge lagoon – which is around the size of six football pitches, is attracting people internationally – and you can see why! Attractions include surf lessons in the lagoon, the Crash and Splash lagoon assault course, stand up paddle boarding, gorge walking, kayaking and canoeing and a soft play area for children. Facilities also include a café and restaurant and a surf school. Definitely something a bit different – but hours of fantastic fun for all the family!
