Search for a singing star!

The search is on for a new singing star! News has reached us here at the Oakeley Arms that young singers across Wales are being invited to audition for a new role where they will sing with Bryn Terfel, the Welsh opera superstar.

Organisers at the Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod are looking for would-be stars to play parts in their Sweeney Todd musical, which will open this year’s festival in July. Bryn Terfel leads an all-star Welsh cast for the musical, and the organisers are looking for a young male singer to play the part of Tobias Ragg, as well as two older singers (18-25) to play the roles of Anthony Hope and Johanna Barker.
